SynPlus Stock Control is a complete and reliable solution for all type of business and demanding organisations, including all major stock control functions and processes as well as statistical tools for management decision-making.
The multitude of parameters allows the set-up of the operational environment based on the company’s needs and structure. You can use items with sizes and/or colours, expiry dated items, items under consignment control, etc. Items costs, prices related options are governed by user-defined parameters. Furthermore you may restrict or grant access to certain locations and/or items to specific users or groups of users.
Items are maintained centrally which gives you access to identical inventory information throughout all SynPlus Systems (Sale Order Processing/Invoicing, Purchase Order Processing/Purchasing, Statistical Analysis). Besides items basic information, you can include additional data such as item’s picture, alternative descriptions, comments, synonyms, purchase order information, etc.
The item card has several underlying tabs on which you can enter on view related information. You can see at a glance all stock information as it regards to its stock position, free quantity, purchase orders, sale orders, delivery notes or reserved quantities for individual and/or consolidated locations. View the item’s statement and the document originating each transaction by a click of a button.
Items stock is updated either through manual input (Receipts, Sales, Issues, Adjustments, Transfers) or through a specially designed process that imports documents from text files. Stock take adjustments may be created automatically once the physical stock position is entered manually or imported from text files or ‘Hand held terminals’.
Data entered into the system is updated immediately so that you always have up-to-date reports and enquiries (even if the transactions are not yet posted). Entries are made in more than one financial year and/or period (forward). At any given time, historical information is available (prices given to customers, prices purchased from suppliers) for a single or group of products.
Apart from standard Inventory/Stock reports for individual or consolidated locations, the system enables the production of Item catalogues, external or internal documents, costing sheets (with prices revaluation), printing of barcodes, etc.
Sales/Purchase Analysis provides clear management information at any level and any period defined by the user. Sophisticated periodical/yearly/comparison statistics in detail/summary form sorted/filtered by almost any field available within the system. Statistics are mainly based on financial parameters, ensuring a better connection between the stock control and the financial administration. Management information comes from one transaction table, guaranteeing consistency.
SynPlus Stock Control integrates completely with other Synthesis Systems (Windows or Character user interface). Furthermore, documents entered in other Synthesis Windows systems (Goods In Transit, Demand Notes, Purchase/Sale Orders, Delivery notes) can be downloaded into the Stock Control with a click of a button.
