SynPlus Accounts is a multi-currency accounting system. Each and every account is maintained in more than one currency. Balances and statements for foreign currency accounts are given in either or both currencies. Accounts can be sorted and printed based on user-defined analysis making the system a powerful tool in the hands of the enterprise.
In addition the system keeps a complete Customer and/or Supplier information enabling the Production of Statistical analysis, Balances / Ageing analysis Calculation and assignment of interest Printing of Invoices, Receipts, Payments/Cheques/Remittances, Statements and other documents Faxing/E-mailing all the above documents directly from the system.
Data entered into the system is updated immediately so that you always have up-to-date reports and enquiries (even if the transactions are not posted yet). Entries are made in more than one financial year and/or period (forward/backwards). At any given time, historical information is available which is essential for making the right management decisions. Furthermore, transactions can be sorted and printed in summary and/or detail mode using various sorting/grouping columns.
When your company uses an automated administration system, entering transactions is an every day job. In SynPlus Accounts we have made whatever is needed to make this task easy and less time-consuming. With a click of a button, the user can reverse entries, auto-generate VAT entries, calculate the realised gain or loss or even change the master tables data. Furthermore, one can use predefined templates for standard and recurring documents.
Synplus Accounts allows the automatically generates Invoices/ Debit Notes or even Journal documents against Customers and/or Suppliers. The posting of an inter-company document automatically creates the reverse document in the related company’s accounts. Furthermore it enables the distribution of accounts balances/movements (e.g. overheads) to predefined accounts based on given percentages or balances of specified group of accounts (e.g. distribute month’s overheads based each department’s turnover).
SynPlus Accounts integrates completely with other Synthesis Systems (Windows or Character user interface). Furthermore, you always have a clear picture of your debtors and creditors including documents entered from other Synthesis Windows systems but not yet posted.
Manual and/or automatic reconciliation (from banks text files), manual and/or automatic allocation for the appropriate accounts are an extra advantage offered by our system.
Audit trail is supported by a user-friendly way to trace a transaction from its origin to the financial statements and vice-versa. Moreover the system provides a set of management reports such as profit and loss, balance sheet and other management reports created by user defined grouping of the accounts
